A vigil to protest gun violence in Chicago was held neat First United Methodist Church (Chicago Temple) on Thursday evening, October 24.  Clergy and laity from the Northern Illinois Conference offered words of personal witness and led communicators who had gathered for the 2013 United Methodist Association of Communicators meeting in prayer, readings, and song.  Click here to experience the vigil
