UMAC meeting opens with worship in the Upper Room

Cynthia Bond Hopson, Assistant General Secretary, Black College Fund and Ethnic Concerns, delievered the homily during opening worship Oct. 20 for the 2009 United Methodist Association of Communicators meeting in Nashville. The service, designed and led by Carolyn Dandridge of the General Board of Discipleship, was held in the Upper Room Chapel and featured music by the Rev. Kwasi Kena, Director of Evangelism Ministry for the General Board of Discipleship and soloist Jerry Chandler.
