2025 UMAC Awards Now Open

We are excited to announce that the 2025 United Methodist Association of Communicators Awards are now open!

Details

• Only UMAC members may enter the contest (become a UMAC member or renew your membership today)

• Submission Period: August 25-Sept 15

• For communication material completed: July 1, 2023-August 1, 2025

• Entry fees (cost per entry): $50 per entry

• Members may enter a maximum of two entries per catagory

Winners will be announced live at the Awards Gala at the UMAC Annual Meeting in October. Note that you don't have to attend UMAC to enter the awards competition, but only UMAC members may enter the contest.

You are invited to UMAC 2025 Oct. 26-29 at Church of the Resurrection UMC in Leawood, Kansas, where we’ll talk about what it means to be more than enough as a communicator in this time and place in our United Methodist Church.

We all know what it means to be a communicator asked to do more with less. We identify as the broken pieces of bread in this story. But God also knows what we have, and that we are more than enough to be a blessing in our roles as communicators and children of the Beloved.

Below is an overview of our time together. We recommend arriving by 4 pm Sunday, October 26, and departing on Wednesday, October 29.
